@MTC: Negotiations with my better half for a weekend car has been as protracted and heated as the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. So when she finally caved in yesterday, I chose the second interesting car I found on Craigslist.

interesting. so in essence, you are searching locally but keeping the model open-ended, as opposed to settling on a model first and then perhaps casting a wider net? that's pretty bold.

Congrats! Can't wait to see what you end up with. I regularly browse the SF CL automotive ads and they rival LA for weird and wonderful cars.
